I use Newsblur as my RSS reader which I had set up in a previous version of Firefox. Since updating to Quantum, my only option when trying to subscribe to a feed is Live Bookmarks which I hate. I want to see the option to choose Newsblur again in the dropdown box when I click the arrow instead of just Live Bookmarks or Yahoo. Can someone tell me how to add Newsblur back? Previous instructions do not seem to work now.

Thank you!

What was the old method??

Could you try this:

(1) Load https://www.newsblur.com/?next=goodies

(2) In the overlay that appears on the page, scroll down to Firefox: Register NewsBlur as an RSS reader and click the "Add to Firefox" button.

(3) Firefox should display a bar asking if you want to add the handler. Click "Add Feed Reader"

(4) Test on an RSS feed...

Success?

The attached screenshots are from Firefox 59 ("Nightly" test version), but I suspect it's the same in Firefox 57.

Perfect! Thank you! I used to have to add news handlers through the about:config page but for some reason, with the new update, I lost the feeds and coudn't parse the string correctly to get it to add. And frankly, I couldn't find anything regarding the 'goodies' thingy for Newsblur though I thought I'd remembered something like that some time ago.
