I would like very much to move the link balloon located at the bottom of the browser window to the top of the browser window. Preferably right below url.

When I hover over a link within a web page, the link balloon pops up at the bottom of the firefox browser window. I would like a space just below the url window at the top of the Firefox window for the link to show.

It is really nice to see the two links compared. One below the other. (this is where i currently am) https://example.com/forums/users/?get=somestuff (this is where i might go) https://example.com/forums/users/form.php

Maybe this addon does what you want? (your examples don't work)

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/linkificator/

If not take a search at the other addons available

See how the two urls are listed this way. One on top of the other. It makes it really easy to compare the two.

The top url is at the top of the Firefox window. It is the place where you type a url and the browser will take you there. The second url is a link within the page that I am hovering over. This is by default displayed at the bottom of the Firefox window in a pop up balloon. I would like it to be displayed at the top.

I had it that way for many years using I think status-4-ever. But that is not supported anymore.

Does anybody know another way? Should I start learning how to do addons? (sounds like fun actually:)
