Firefox 59.0.2 64-bit

I have disabled all addons and extensions, and the built in PDF viewer does not work. Clicking a PDF link will download the file, trying to open locally stored PDF in FF just opens a blank page. Changing the PDF option in the Applications portion of settings to "Use Firefox" and attempting to open a locally stored PDF causes FF to go into an infinite loop of

opening a new blank tab (path to PDF file in title bar) downloading another copy of PDF to download folder, opening a new blank tab (path to copied PDF file in title bar) downloading another copy of PDF to download folder, etc..

continues ad infinitum even if you close FF it will open a new window and keep going!

I need native PDF handling in my browser, I dont want to use chrome anymore but it handled PDF's flawlessly. I even tried the addon to use google drive to handle all PDF's, but that is not ideal for several reasons.

Hi, give this a try please : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files , C:\Program Files(x86) & C:\ProgramData Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. (Note: This should be Pinned and run Weekly, If never done below expect 10's of gig's) Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do :

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 59.0.2 with a Full Version Installer

Please update your Flash 28.00 Flash Player Version: 29.0.0.140 Current Version https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>
