we have a custom wysiwyg editor built for our product. Can i assume if it works well on ios firefox 62, it will work the same way on firefox 62 on windows 10 & 8.1 ?

No, you cannot assume that. Firefox for iOS uses plumbing from Safari, and desktop and mobile browsers have different basic layout assumptions.

Since you are using a Mac, you can definitely test your editor and find out:

Sorry, did you mean MacOS instead of iOS? The desktop versions of Firefox are similar across Mac, Windows, and Linux. There may be some slight differences in selection behavior, for example, whether a trailing space is automatically selected or not.
