I can't get Mac quick txt (System preferences<keyboard<Text) on thunderbird. It works on every other platform and application but it seems that thunderbird is blocking it somehow. </p>

You do not mention what version of thunderbird you are using.

If you are using the addon extension: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/quicktext/

If you have recently updated Thunderbird, please check the addon extension to make sure it is also updated.
