Firefox blocks all pages linked from a previous page. I have to tell it to "allow" the page to load. How do I stop this?

I click on a link from one page (email for instance). This opens another tab but doesn't load. I have to click "allow" to get the next page. How do I stop that from happening?

Type about:preferences#advanced<enter> in the address bar. Under Advanced, select General Turn off Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page.

In Firefox 56+ the "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page" setting can no longer be found in Options/Preferences. You can modify this pref on the about:config page to enable or disable this feature

accessibility.blockautorefresh

True Instead of refreshing a page automatically when [meta http-equiv="refresh"] is present (or Refresh HTTP headers), display a browser message indicating the refresh and allow the user to follow it manually.

False Allow automatic page refreshes

Thanks for the effort. I really do appreciate it. However,

"Under Advanced, select General Turn off Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page. "

Isn't a listed option. Could this have something to do with the fact that I'm using a Mac? I"m also using Firefox 63.0.3. I don't know if that means anything. Again. Thanks for trying!
