We have a Facebook page about history. when I update pictures on the page, other friends of the page sign in and make comments on the pic and it causes the page to push that post to a different position on the page. If I could add to the page while it is in 'work offline' mode, then I could add multiple pics and articles at one time and then go back to online mode to have the updated page load, it would save a lot of time.

AFAIK FB you have to be online to edit or save changes to the page. There is no Offline that I know of that you can do. And if there is then you need to talk to FB support about such features.
