This is probably a Windows 10 question. I have my Display Brightness set at 1% but it doesn't seem to reduce the brightness at all. It strains my eyes. How can I reduce the brightness?

Perhaps this page would be of help to you.

However, some computer monitors and laptop screens have their own brightness settings that are specific to the manufacturer. If that's the case, I'd recommend using their screen's support website.

Hope you get everything solved.

I HAVE FOUND A GREAT SOLUTION, change the BACKGROUND COLOR IN THE COLOR OPTIONS WHERE YOU HAVE THE FOUR RECTANGLES TO FILL IN, WITH GREY FOR THE BACKGROUND, OR ANOTHER COLOR FROM THE COLOR WINDOW APPEARING AT THE LEFT. HAVE LOVELY LIGHT GREY BACKGROUND NOW. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also : for the WINDOWS pages, such as the settings, there is a choice in the account settings where the desktop settings etc. are, for DARK MODE the apps.................which takes care of that too.

I haven't been able to find that setting.

Have you contact the manufacture as well? Screen brightness is a hardware function controlled by the O/S. The browser only uses what the O/S gives it.
