Sometimes, I want to hide the stuff on the top of my screen, which are the tabs, address bar, and Bookmarks Toolbar. How can I do that?

Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars {web link}

Type about:customizing<enter> in the address bar.

Note: about:customizing is no longer present in Firefox v47+ releases.

  • Press Alt or F10 to bring up the Menu Bar.
    Then View > Toolbars > Customize.
  • Right-click on a blank spot in the toolbar and select Customize.

Look for Show / Hide Toolbars at the bottom left.

There is also a Restore Defaults button at the bottom middle.

You can only hide the Bookmarks Toolbar. To hide other toolbars you would have to enter Full Screen mode, but I don't know if on Mac this hides the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar.

Full Screen mode (Mac: Command+Shift+F).

Hello annarachel01,
