updating old versions
With the 75 version setup file upon what versions am I able to update ?
For instance, some of my customer's users are using the 4th version
Chosen solution
From my POV it should be safe to skip 3-4 versions, assumming you have a profile backup.
So 4-> 10 -> 15 -> 20 -> 25 and so on should be OK.

Good question, I wouldn't recommend upgrading such old versions straight to the 75.
OK thanks. From which version would you recommend to do so then ?

OK I see . Doing it step by step then. But with the latest setup file can you please indicate what version I can update from ?
Well, we are aware of one issue with losing passwords, when too many versions is skipped. See Lockwise losing login information after Firefox update. So I wouldn't go to far, maybe to 70.
Understood - What is the command line to backup and restore the profil on windows ?
On Windows, the user's profiles are under
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox
It isn't easy to ascertain the precise profile folder names. Or should I say, it takes a lot of text file parsing.
Thank you all for your answers.
