In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

I cannot start Mozilla Firefox... It crashes before starting. So it's not possible to type about:crashes<enter>.

I tried every fix on Mozilla's, but nothing is working. Starting in safe mode is also not working.

the symptoms sound similar to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1590430 - did you ever use comdo security products in the past or even if not, could you check if there's a file called IseGuard64.dll, IseGuard32.dll or similar located under C:\Windows\system32\ or your system drive? if yes, delete it please...

We didn't use any condo security products in the past. There's also no file called "IseGuard64.dll" or "IseGuard32.dll" located under "C:\Windows\system32\" or the system drive.

If you can't get Firefox to open, you will have to do this the hard way.

Open the file browser / explorer on your computer. Note: You may have to enable Show Hidden Folders / Files. Enter this in the address bar;

Windows: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win 7/Vista: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted Win XP/2000: C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted

Mac OS: /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/submitted Linux: /home/<username>/.mozilla/firefox/Crash Reports/submitted

Copy the most Recent 5-7 File Names in the folder. Press the Reply button. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

Hello Fred,

Your URL is not working.

The following file names are located under: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports :

- InstallTime20190901094603 - InstallTime20190514153425 - InstallTime20190507003026 - InstallTime20190124141046 - InstallTime20181203164059 - InstallTime20181017185317 - InstallTime20180903060751

The most recent file is already almost 1 year old. There's no folder that's called: "submitted"

InstallTime items in the Crash Reports folder are created when you install a new Firefox version. It looks weird if you only have such InstallTime files for 2019 and not for 2020 as each time you update Firefox a new InstallTime should have been created. For me most recent is InstallTime20201014125134 Maybe check the read/write permissions and owner of this folder and its files and possibly the profiles as well. Note that seeing a green block for read-only doesn't mean that the folder is read-only because Windows doesn't check all the files, only a tick in this folder read-only box would matter.
