When writing an email containing numbered nested lists, the numbering at the higher levels is incorrect. Hereby attached is the simples example of this problem.

The last one should be numbered "2", but no, it is 3. I just use the menus of Thunderbird in order to build the list.

How can I have the numbering work correctly?

Thanks, Michael

Note: I had posted this same bug earlier, no reaction from anyone whatsoever...

Yes it is a known bug. I reported it ages ago. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1636766

This is related to this bug: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1548753

Basically, it is all linked up to that bug in Firefox as there is a sharing of some code. So I believe we are now waiting to see what occurs when that code is brought across to Thunderbird which sounds like version 82 - if I read the info correctly.
