Firefox autoupdate and Firefox sync is disabled in computer. We are using Altiris patch management to update Firefox version. The source is msi file. Computer might has Firefox in difference install locations.

Computer has Firefox 85.0.2 64bit installed to C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox However, Altiris patch management install Firefox 86.0 64bit to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

Now computer have 2 versions of Firefox 64bit.

parameter INSTALLDIR=path is not possible because computer might has Firefox in difference install locations.

Is it possible to update using msi replace current install directory instead of new install directory ?

Don’t make your life more difficult with various workarounds. Reinstall, login and have no problems.
