We run Firefox on all our clerk computers at the public library where I work. Since the most recent update, our online circulation website which we use to check out books, receives a pop-up blocked message every time we try to print a hold receipt for an item. The website has always been added as an exception to our pop-up blockers, and until just after the most recent update, the blocker had no problem allowing the website through. Now it does. I have tried clearing the browser caches, removing and adding the website to the exceptions list again, and restarting the browser, as well as adding different variations of the website to the exceptions list. In the end, we just had to turn the pop-up blockers off. I searched online for anyone else who had this issue, but the ones I found dated back to 2014-2015, and the solution they came up with no longer seems to exist in the Firefox settings. So I'm hoping to find an answer here! Thanks.

Yes! I have been having the same problem! Very frustrating. Won't let me "Allow" the websites either or add them to my exceptions. That option is greyed out and simply not available. It won't even let me Print in gmail. As my work email is gmail, not being able to print because it blocks the print popup - and gmail is in my exceptions and worked just fine before that - is a huge problem as I need to print continually - or at least so it seems. But quite often I print to a PDF and as I'm not getting my print popups, this is an exercise in frustration! Please fix this glitch or tell us what to do to go around it because the go-round we've been using now doesn't function! Thanks.

Same issue except I cannot access my bill pay through my bank website. Even when after turning off popup blocker, popup page comes up blank. Had to go to MS Edge to get to my bill pay site through my bank site. Very frustrating. Added site address for both bank and Bill Pay site to exceptions but still blocks any popups what so ever. Something seriously wrong with this since the last update. Needs priority to be remedied.

I assume you entered the sites you want "pop-ups" from in the allow "pop-up" blocker exception list. This allows pop-ups from the sites you want them from. Check your "pop-up" blocker exception list. See if the exceptions are still there . . . I run into this problem each time I update my Mozilla Firefox release with a new version. Then I have to reload exceptions for each site I WANT "pop-ups" from . . . very tedious!!! I've been asking for a fix for probably 2 years now. Ridiculous! HINT: create a text file with all your exception sites, then reload them after ever update - until the fix this. Ridiculous!

I did enter my exceptions and it still blocked them. I removed the exceptions, cleared the cache, restarted Firefox, added them back, and tried again. Still blocked them. The only thing that worked for us was turning off the pop-up blocker. You're right - ridiculous.

Same problem here, started after the latest update (currently on Windows 10, FF 87, 64bit). Any idea if rolling back the update would fix this? Thanks

So I see all of these posts going back 11 days but I see no solutions being offered. What is the point of posting problems?

I suppose the hope is that if enough of us have this problem, eventually Mozilla will stop ignoring us and address it. While that's the hope, I've seen similar posts concerning all sorts of issues lack any customer support at all from some of the world's biggest online companies, including Microsoft, Facebook, etc. So I'm not holding my breath. It seems to be a common trend that if the company doesn't have a solution, they ignore the customers experiencing problems with their products, rather than try to address them.

Working myself at a SW company, I realize there are too many issues (and most of them not critical) to fix. However, the attitude matters, too. At the very minimum, acknowledging that they are aware of the issue and then a bonus of an occasional update would go a long way even if the issue remains. Microsoft and their kind are quasi-monopolies and too arrogant to pay attention to their customers and like peons, but I was expecting more from Mozilla. Maybe one day.

Having the same problem. Option to unblock is greyed out (not working). removing and re adding, restarting etc etc doesn't change anything. I have several sites that are set as exceptions and only some of them actually seem to be allowed. Mozilla really needs to sort this out...the only option is to use a different browser for the particular sites that you need to get a pop-up from. It should be noted that the sites that are usually listed as exceptions, by most people, are financial sites and the pop-ups are the only means of retrieving statements. So it is quite important to have it function properly.
