bold text I have taken a backup of the Profiles file cyxxxxxx.default from the old laptop. I have installed thunderbird in the new laptop. It comes with a Profiles folder and a profiles batch file. What changes do I make in each of the following

1. the Profiles folder which has new .default and .default-release files 6a30ueze.default un908njg.default-release

2. profiles batch file which has the following code

[InstallD78BF5DD33499EC2] Default=Profiles/un908njg.default-release Locked=1

[Profile1] Name=default IsRelative=1 Path=Profiles/6a30ueze.default Default=1

[Profile0] Name=default-release IsRelative=1 Path=Profiles/un908njg.default-release

[General] StartWithLastProfile=1 Version=2

Chosen solution

Don't bother with the profiles.ini file. Copy the cyxxxxxx.default folder to the Profiles folder, then using the Profile Manager, create a new profile and point it to the Profiles\cyxxxxxx.default folder. Launch Tbird using that profile.
