Every time I open my Firefox browser I get the Firefox popup that shows 2 options for me. Either install the new Firefox or I can "dismiss" the offer. I do not wish to install the "New" Firefox browser, but the popup does not quit showing up. I would like it gone, gone, gone. Please help.

Hey there. If you wanna block pop-ups, go to about:preferences#privacy and Make sure the Block pop-up windows checkbox is checked. I'm not sure If Firefox will block its own pop-ups but you can give it a try.

Personally, I recommend installling the newer version as the older one is more vulnerable and the newer one provides Enhanced Security.
