Doing my best to install and use Firefox. Major problems w/ my Comcast (CenturyLink) E-mail since they eliminated Eudora. When I try to install Firefox I get a msg. for my CenturyLink P/W (which I don't know). This has been going on since mid-October. Really tired of anything having to do w/ CenturyLink. Any ideas as to how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. Can't make a connection via CenturyLink as to how to solve this. E-mail: [email removed from public]

Installing Thunderbird?

When I try to install Firefox I get a msg. for my CenturyLink P/W (which I don't know).

You'll have to provide a password once when setting up the account in Thunderbird. Then you can tell Thunderbird to remember the password for you. If you don't know the password check with Comcast about password reset options. If there is an old Thunderbird installation you may be able to look up the password there, assuming you told Thunderbird to remember the password in the first place.

Note, it is recommended to create regular backups of your Thunderbird profile. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-thunderbird-stores-user-data#w_backing-up-a-profile
