Hi,

I can't seem to be able do disable search suggestions, or at least make them appear after my bookmarks and browsing history, i.e. I used to be able to type "gm" and the first option would be my Gmail, not a google search for those letters.

If "provide search suggestions" is on, the box to show them "ahead of browsing history in address bar results" is greyed out and can't be toggled; if it is off, then the sub-option turns on.

This makes the autocompletion feature basically useless.

Is there some other way to change this? I've tried restarting the browser after a settings change, with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Autofill behavior is unrelated to search suggestions, the gmail site is a redirect which makes it unlikely to autofill. You can bookmark the site and assign the keyword "gm" so it always autofills when you type those letters.
