I am inputting something like https://192.168.xx.xx:yyyyy, which is 100% a working address that I navigate to fine from other devices on the same LAN including machines w/ firefox installed, but for some reason this one instance of Firefox absolutely refuses to navigate directly to any local IPs and will search instead.

Actually it appears the default web UI for Pi Hole running in a docker is banned port? This KB article is massively out of date, how do you unblock/override banned ports in FF today? http://kb.mozillazine.org/Network.security.ports.banned
