I click the history panel and it opens as normal, when i click on a site that i want to visit again from the history log it deletes itself from the history log. this has just started to happen. before i could click on the web page from the history log and the origional history log would remain there.

Chosen solution

If you access an History item then that item is moved to the top because it gets a new last visited date/time. Firefox only shows the last time that you visited a web page, all other entries of that same URL get hidden.

Dan, are you sure the site isn't just "disappearing" because you are accessing it and goes to the "latest" pane (or however it's called)?
