More than likely the problem has to do with your Firewall limiting access to the internet, or delaying access until Firefox times out and says it can't find the internet.

See this for instructions for the most popular Firewalls.

I do not use a firewall (i use direct cable internet ->no wireless<)

the ONLY firewall is the built in window 7 64bit professional.

Same problem also occurs on : W7 64bit Ultimate AND W7 Family Premium (64bit)

I've been having this problem since updating to 3.6.16. Firewall is set to allow Firefox, and never had a problem before the update. Do I really need to uninstall and install an old version all because Mozilla can't put out updates worth a damn?
