Using Firefox 3.6.13 with OS 10.5.8 on Mac. My homepage in my preferences is set to always go to Yahoo! as my homepage. Recently though, when I start up Firefox, it will go to the last page (or pages/tabs/windows) I was on during my last session (and if it is multiple tabs, it I will click "Do Not Remember Tabs").

I've tried deleting the org.mozilla.firefox.plist file thinking the prefs may be corrupted, but that did not work.

I've also run utility programs lately too hoping maybe that would work. Didn't.

This can be a problem with the file sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder

Delete sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Profile Folder

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

cor-el.

THANK YOU. That did the trick. Much appreciated!

Sigh, it did it again almost immediately after "fixing". I think I may have gotten excited in error. I've tried trashing those two files again and without luck. Anything else I can try?
