Right-click "shortcut menus" have a VERY light grey background, so when an item is moused over and the type changes from black to white, it becomes unreadable (white on white is never good). Is there a way to change the moused-over background or font color? I'm using the new "4.0" version.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

See:

In Firefox 4 Safe mode disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

Did all the troubleshooting options and nothing changed matters. Shortcut menu typeface still turns from black to white on mouseover.
