To get this behavior, you need to change Firefox preferences as follows:

  1. In the Location bar, type about:config and press the enter' key'.
  2. Click the I'll be careful... button.
  3. You will be presented with a list of preferences.
  4. Type browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent in the Filter text box.
  5. The browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent preference would be displayed.
  6. Double-click on it to set its value to false.

Now, the new tabs would open at far right.
