How to click on a bookmarked tab w/o it overwriting the currently opened page (I already right-click to "open in a new tab" or open an empty page - I'd like to eliminate these steps.)

Would love to be able to simply click on a bookmark and have it open in a new tab without having to right-click to "open in a new tab", or open a new page, then click the bookmark.

I think you need an add-on in order to do this. I haven't tried any myself, but a search turned up this one: Open Bookmarks in New Tab :: Add-ons for Firefox. Any luck?
