I uninstalled Firefox 5.0 version because of problems on accessing work e-mail at home. So, I need to download Firefox 4.0 according to my tech director at school. Where do I find this free download?

I access my work e-mail through my school website. When I click on it and put in id and password, it continually says I do not have a current id and password. However, I can access my e-mail through this site with no problem at work just not on my laptop.

My tech director said that Firefox was suppose to help this situation (had major problems with Windows explorer). However, I still had problems with the above. So, he has suggested downgrading from 5.0 to 4.0 version with hope that it would take care of the problem.

  1. A link to Firefox 4 versions will not be offered by any responsible contributor here, because Firefox 4 versions contain stability and security issues that will not be corrected. Firefox 4 is a thing of the past.
  2. The only currently supported versions that a responsible contributor here will offer are Firefox 5 and Firefox 3.6.18. Firefox 3.6.18 is currently scheduled for support for only 2-3 more months, then it, too, will be a thing of the past. Firefox 6 will probably be introduced about the time the Firefox 3.6.18 support is discontinued.
  3. To downgrade to Firefox 3.6.18, follow these instructions very carefully:
