Using dial-up "earthlink" ISP with iMac 10.4.7 OS, using Mozilla 3.6; am I correct in assuming I can't use "new" Mozilla.
I'd like to download the new version of Mozilla, but I have dial-up service with a browser speed of 56K and for a variety of reasons, I won't be able to upgrade at my living quarters. Because I assume I won't be able to change to a faster internet capability, does anyone have any suggestions as to an inexpensive notebook on the market that has a WiFi set-up that can download the latest version of Mozilla? I am not tech savvy and have copied below what my current iMac desk computer is FYI, which is relevant only if the new Mozilla can be used for it:

Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac. Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

Firefox(supported) 3.6.24 (Mac OS X 10.4 and later with PowerPC's) can be found here(but you have it and you are supported):
