How do I stop repeated annoying reminders to upgrade Windows Internet Explorer
I see "do you want to upgrade to latest version of internet explore" or words to that effect several times a session in a pop-up window. How do I stop it? Without going back to Win IE of course.
Chosen solution
OK I found it elsewhere
1
Press the "Windows" key. 2
Click "All Programs" and "Windows Update." 3
Select "Change Settings" in the left panel. 4
Click the drop-down box beneath the "Important updates" section. Select the "Never check for updates" option. Select to clear the "Recommended update," "Microsoft Update" and "Software notifications" check-boxes. Click "OK."
