I am currently building a site which consists of a jquery image rotator. The jquery has a fade transition being applied between images. In Firefox 9, this transition between images happened without any issues but ever since I upgraded my Firefox browser to 10 it is adding a black color during the transition(which fades away quickly) between the different images. I am using .jpeg images in the image rotator.

Unfortunately I can't paste a link to the site since it is not live yet.

Can you make a testcase for a developer to look at?

Works for me on that site in Firefox 10.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Thanks, using safe mode I was able to narrow it down to hardware acceleration. Adapter is ATI HD 3400. Windows reports driver v. 8.771.0.0

Edit: updating the driver didn't help
