Firefox 12.0 Print pages go to print queue but will not print - this does not happen in any other application.

I cannot print any web pages from Firefox 12.0. I have tried every solution that I have been able to dig up on this forum and others. This is a new installation on a recently re-formatted computer. The printer works fine with the same pages printed from Internet Explorer.

I have reset the prefs file. I have tried it in SAFE mode. The print preview screen shows that what I want to print is there. The job goes to the print queue but just sits there. The printer is the only printer installed and the only printer listed in the 'prefs' file.

This is an HP6500 Pro printer Wireless connection, Windows 7, Firefox 12.0.

I have been through the post that you provided numerous times. It DOES NOT solve the problem..........Is there ANY other option?

Having the exact same issue here. It prints the first document, but it never clears it from the queue. Subsequent prints get stuck in the queue. Have to stop the spooler, delete the spooler files, then start the spooler again before I can print anything else.

THE PROBLEM HAS RETURNED. It seemed to be working when I wrote the quoted material below but is now doing the same thing (cannot print from Firefox at all - clear queue and can print from Internet Explorer).

"I hate it when this happens but the problem has resolved itself with no intervention on my part except to allow installation of the Firefox 13.0 update. This happened in the last couple of days and then I 'accidentally' figured out that it was working on one of my computers when I printed several things without issue today. I checked it on my other computer with the same positive results. No other changes.

I hope this means that it was a problem that was recognized and fixed by Firefox in the v. 13.0 release and not some phantom that will re-occur......"
