I'm trying to use Firefox 10.0.5 on my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 which is running Ice Cream Sandwich. My problem is I can't get to any of the menu functions, escpecially the 'save as pdf' because there is no menu key. I can't get the tablet version because it's a 7" tablet. I have tried the Beta (14) but it doesn't have a cookie manager like 10 does. Anything I can do ?

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by 'cookie manager', but v14 does have enable/disable cookies in the Settings. I think this issue must be a limitation of v10.0.5 on ICS, so I will ask about this and see if there is another possible workaround in about:config or somewhere.

Thanks for this question!

I have one particular site that happens to be a bank. It will not let me get the full desktop view, only mobile. Even with the phony addon that makes it think it's the desktop version of firefox. I'm assuming it's because it set a cookie but my only choice in v14 is to clear all cookies and passwords and I don't want to do that. There are cookie managers in v10 that let you delete certain cookies as oppossed to all cookies.

Hi, Have you tried the Clear Site Settings? It gives you the choice clear settings for a site, but also save your password in v14. I'm not sure if this will help with the view though, but you might try it.

I also toggle Phony (disable it and then enable it) to get it working right at time with v10.0.5, so maybe that would help.

Clea Site Settings tells me there are no settings for the site.

Hi,

Sorry that neither of those worked for you. I asked engineering about your combination (ICS + 10.0.5 fennec + 7-inch tab) and you should have a 'fake' menu button in the bottom right to get to the menu options. I will ask QA about this to be sure it isn't a bug and get on on file if so.

Thanks! Michelle
