I want to remove all search engines from Firefox.

While other discussions relate to removing undesired search engines, they do not deal with removing all search engines. I tried to manually delete all of the search engines, but FireFox will not let me have less than one.

You do realize that by doing this, you must type an exact/correct URL in the Address Bar to go to any site as no search would be available?
