Why can't I use Yahoo mail? It won't delete any emails. Google chrome does it right. Fix it or you will lose our business

Yesterday, Aug. 22, Mozilla suffered a massive & complete breakdown in handling Yahoo. Originally I thought it was a virus. I immediately switched to Google Chrome & worked on it w/o difficulty all day long. Yahoo was pushing all data/articles to the left side of the screen. That fixed today, Aug. 23. HOWEVER, the problem with Yahoo mail persists. Out of the blue, it's impossible to delete any Yahoo emails on Mozilla. If you single click to select a list of emails to be deleted, they open automatically. There's no "delete" at the top of the screen to get rid of it. It's very annoying. Somebody's messing with your system (alone). Google Chrome & Microsoft Explorer worked just fine all day. FIX IT!

you can also go to reminderfox options... > file > import and point them to the calender files in your \reminderfox folder in the old firefox data on your desktop

hello, please go through the steps covered in Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should - those will normally cover issues like the one you've described.

does not help at all. Late in the day I received a message from Mozilla that they just updated their system. Why don't I check out their great new system? Whatever Mozilla just did is knocking out yahoo mail on some computers. That should be a priority to repair. Like in the next 24 hours. 50 % of my internet usage ties to email. I have to go on Google Chrome(which I don't like), for the silly reason that I cannot open or delete emails. Clearly whatever you have just done has created a problem.

hello, i highly doubt that there was anything in the update that would have triggered the problem. i've not seen anything similar from other yahoo users in the last few days.

please try to reset firefox and see if this can address the issue...

before I do that, would I lose my bookmarks?

more options

no, a reset will keep all your bookmarks and passwords and will create a backup folder of all the other settings on your desktop.

YES!!! IT WORKED!!! THANK GOD! Mozilla is so much more fun than Google Chrome--- All my bookmarks were saved & my passwords, too! And now my Yahoo Mail is working beautifully again! What a relief!

Here's one thing the reset did-- It deleted my reminderfox. how do I reconnect to reminderfox?

more options

there should be a folder labelled "old firefox data" on your desktop, with a folder named \reminderfox inside - right-click and copy this folder. then open firefox, go to firefox > help > troubleshooting information, click on profile folder/show folder, in the upcoming window right-click somewhere in a blank space of this directory and paste the \reminderfox folder.

afterwards install the extension from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/reminderfox/ again, restart the browser and it should contain all your old dates.

ReminderFox has been added on, but not the old dates. how do I restore those?

more options

as said before, the contents of the \reminderfox folder in the old firefox data from your desktop have to be copied into the \reminderfox folder of your currently active profile.
