After updating Firefox to v24, I cannot get Mapquest to work. Is anyone else having this problem? Cleared cache, cookies, restarted, nothing helps.

Virtually any address I attempt to search receives an error message "We are having trouble retrieving your search results right now." I have no problem using Internet Explorer, so the problem is not necessarily Mapquest's

I am also having some trouble on one or two other websites when it comes to making blog posts, which I now realize began after applying the v24 update.

Mapquest uses a variety of external servers/services, so blocking "third party" cookies or scripts could impact the site's functionality. You might check that you are allowing third party cookies in these places:

If nothing leaps out as relevant, could you try the site in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using

Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled

In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)

Any difference?

No, the program was completely corrupted somehow. Reluctantly did a RESET and all seems well. Bookmarks and other attributes were preserved, so at least the RESET feature is reliable. Turned my add-ons back on and everything continues to work. Just something buggy about the upgrade on my laptop I guess.
