Is there a way to stop FF software update reminder for 29.0.1 from reappearing into eternity without a way to TURN IT OFF. I do not prefer this version, don't understand the lingo AT ALL and so of course and sticking with what I know. PLEASE ! HOW TO GET RID OF THIS "reminder" forever (and i hope this will not keep happening every time Firefox updates to a new version).

Depending upon where you are seeing that update reminder, it might continue as long as you are using an outdated version of Firefox.

How about providing a screenshot of that message?

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Then use the Browse .... button below the Post a Reply text box to upload the screenshot.

Note that you make yourself vulnerable to disclosed and known security vulnerabilities if you stay with an older Firefox version.

What in particular holds you from updating to Firefox 29?

Note that Firefox 30 is already on its way to being released next week (June 10th).
