Can't open after update to v 30.0
I run Windows 7 and can't open Firefox after updating to v 30.0. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no success. I do, however, show: firefox.exe*32 in the processes section of the task manager. No browser opens and the only way to "kill" it for the uninstalls I have done was to "End Process"; right clicking on the icon in the task bark and clicking the X didn't do a thing.
Anyone else having this issue?

It would open in safe mode, but when I tried it multiple times, sometimes it would take 2 or 3 tries to work, with each failed attempt showing the firefox.exe.*32 under processess in the task manager. I ended up resetting Firefox and it now opens normally - I just have to rebuilt my extension library, etc. Thanks so much for your help! I really missed FF!

I think the newest version of Firefox is buggy. Just sayin', And I wish they'd fix it.
Is there any way to contact Mozilla proper? I would really like to bring this to their attention because if they don't remedy this quickly, I'll have to switch browsers permanently.
Do you get any error when starting Firefox?
No, no error messages or anything else. Going into the task manager, nothing shows in Applications, but in Processes, I see firefox.exe*32
I tried restarting my computer several times and it always tells my that Firefox is open and to close it, but the only way to do so is through Processes in the task manager.
... it always tells my that Firefox is open and to close it
So you do get an error. What is the exact error message?
Try launching Firefox in the Firefox SafeMode by holding the Shift when clicking the desktop shortcut. See this KB articled for more details. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
