When Firefox starts it no longer goes to my homepage but reloads all the tabs from my previous session.
I have the homepage set to what I want. On the "General" page option it is set to when firefox starts show my home page.
I'm running 30.0 and the about page says I am up to date.
It used to always go to my homepage, but just recently started loading the tabs from my previous session.

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.
Flash is notorious for not cleaning out the older version as part of an update. Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac Then reinstall the latest version.

As to your home page issue;
It could be the work of one of your add-ons, or even add / mal-ware. Look thru your add-ons list and make sure you know what each one is there for. Also, check the programs that are on your computer
Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder Linux:
- Ubuntu Unity {web link}
- Xfce: Applications Menu category sections
- options depends on the package manager and the desktop environment
Go thru the list. If you find something that you don't know what it is, use a web search.
