This is a weird question. Firefox shouldn't take up more than 70MB. My Nightly 34.0a1 and Firefox 31.0 take up about 70-79MB (Nightly being 79 and 31.0 being 70)

I think it is very strange also, but I did end up uninstalling it and reinstalling it on my hdd instead of my ssd. In doing so I free'd up 5gb of hard drive space on my ssd. I have no idea why it would have taken up so much hard drive space in the first place though.
