Could you explain your question better? You asked it in the Firefox forum but it seems to be about Thunderbird, a Mozilla mail application with its own forum here.

To tell the truth I dont understand much about anything. My computer said that I needed to download migration - I dont know what it is or what it does or if I even need it. Cant really say anymore than that.

If you see a popup or other message about downloading something from the Internet and you don't understand it, you're right not to do it without more information.

Were you using Firefox when you saw this message? Could you post the exact message or a screenshot of the message and post it here, if it happens again? See How do I create a screenshot of my problem?

Best wishes, Alice
