This website pops up all by itself every time I open Firefox: http://www.clickvideodownload.com/getting_started.php?od=13-12-15&cd=14-12-15&rid=861ef38c8271909

I always close it without following its prompt to download their software. Can I block this site from my computer?

First try to revert firefox default home page. Restore the default home page

If you want to delete your home page customizations, this is how to do it:

Click the menu button (the one on upper right) and choose Options.
   Select the General panel.
In the Startup box under Home Page: click Restore to Default.

Once you have done this go to menu again and choose addons. Then navigate to extensions ..Post me all your installed extensions :-)

For your knowledge Its an adware that replaced your homepage with their webpage. Whatever you do simply Dont download any product they offer! if the above solution doesnt work check this 1. go to your firefox shortcut( the icon you press to start firefox) 2. right click - > properties in shortcut tab there is this target field..make sure that there is nothing after the double quotes ". it must be somethink like this C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe".
