First off, not trying to be obnoxious or anything, but ***Firefox is already set as my default browser and is working just fine with other programs*** --I don't need instructions on how to set it as my default by going through the settings menu - that's one of the first things I did when I bought this machine.

At one point, I was able to override Cortana and Outlooks default setting and have both open in Firefox, without any problems, for months. After an upgrade, I lost that ability and can't find the solutions again. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm on a 64-bit HP Pavilion, running Windows 10, v 1511, and FF v 48.0.2.

Thanks for any all suggestions1

Some programs check the computers settings for such information. With other, you need to open their options.
