Can't sign in and email from contacts is bouncing. Why?
I am unable to sign in to my primary email account via Thunderbird. A window pops up asking, "Retry?" I am entering the correct password. Furthermore, a friend on facebook has notified me that email sent to my primary account is bouncing. What is going on?

I'd suggest that you attempt to visit your email provider's website, login to your email account there and see if all is well.
