This is an anomaly observed in Firefox for android. If the push notification was supposed to redirect me to http://example.com Case 1: Firefox is open when the notification is clicked:

- I am redirected normally.

Case 2: Firefox is in the background when the notification is clicked (I am on the home screen or on some other application):

- Nothing seems to happen when I click the notification. However, when I open firefox next, I am on http://example.com.
