When I start a video at youtube.com in the Firefox browser, seconds later some ad starts playing in the background. There is no way for me to disable this ad. It is either an ad or some other videio. I don't know which. I just uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and THIS is what is still does. What is causing this to happen? Sometimes the same video will start playing again from the beginning a few seconds after I start the video.

Hi   !
Let's try Firefox in Safe Mode :

If Firefox is not running : Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox. If Firefox is running : 3-bar menu => ' ? ' (at the bottom of the dropdown) => 'Restart with Add-ons disabled'. Then OK the restart. A small dialog should appear. Click 'Start in Safe Mode' ( not 'Refresh' !)

See : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

And also : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems

When add-ons are disabled,   re-enable them one by one, to see if maybe one of them might be the culprit.
