Why does Firefox still remember search history when it's clear the option "Firefox NEVER remember history" is picked in the privacy option?
In OPTIONS - PRIVACY tab there is an option for Firefox to never remember history ... that was chosen and yet there is still a search history on google search dating from a week before. Something not working?

Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Entering Private Browsing mode doesn't clear existing history. You can only remove existing in normal mode, so you need to exit PB mode and then you should be able to use "Clear Recent History" to delete this data.
