Are your menus in Greek (on Windows, you can tap the Alt key or the F10 key to activate the menu bar temporarily)?

If your Firefox interface is in Greek: you might need to run an English-language installer to convert your current installation:

Your Firefox identified itself as the 32-bit version for Windows. If you are considering switching, please read the following article first: How to switch from 32-bit to 64-bit Firefox.

If your menus are in English but websites are in Greek: your language preferences might be "out of order" on the Options page. You can modify that using:

  • Windows: "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options
  • Mac: "3-bar" menu button (or Firefox menu) > Preferences
  • Linux: "3-bar" menu button (or Edit menu) > Preferences
  • Any system: type or paste about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it

Firefox 56-58: In the search box at the top of the page on the right side, type lang and Firefox should filter to the "Choose" button in the Language section, which you can click.

Firefox 38-55: In the left column, click Content. Then on the right side, find the Language section and click the "Choose" button.

You can make en or en-US the preferred language/locale sent with web requests.
