I normally use three different languages when writing emails and although I have my spellchecker set to English (the one I use the most) it would be neat to be able to change language with one click instead of two. That is, at the moment I have to first select the language from the drop-down menu and then click "Spelling", while it would be a tad easier if changing the language automatically opened the spellcheck. I understand that this might not be a feature that should be standard, but is there any way to activate it?

Thanks, M

Found this add-on which in theory would solve the issue: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/automatic-dictionary-switching/?src=cb-dl-updated?src=cb-dl-updated. However, it does not seem to work on macOS at the moment..
