Hello,

is it possible to add by myself more time filters to history view (ctrl+shift+h)? Are they created automatically based on history or fixed in some setting file???

I have accidentally deleted "older than 6 months" label and it seems it is not possible to add it manually or retrieve it back.

However I would like to add more time frames like "older than 1 year" older than 2 yrs etc.

best regards

There is no backup for the history, so if you do not have a backup copy of places.sqlite (bookmarks and history) then you will have to wait six months to get history older than six months once again. Firefox creates these folders automatically when they apply and there is history data available from that time frame.

If you remove such a folder then you remove all history items that appeared in this smart folder. Smart folders are created via a places.sqlite database query.
