Using the automatic account setup all is well except wilnav@disroot.org replies there is already a Thunderbird account. So I looked in the .thunderbird folder to find my email folders. They are gone. So I went to your online help and found this and was starting to follow it:

If your account cannot be automatically configured by Thunderbird, you must manually configure it. This is done via the Account Settings dialog, accessed from the Tools menu. Your email account provider can provide details on connection information. (The information is probably available from their website.) See the Manual Account Configuration article for full instructions. See the FAQ Changing IMAP to POP article if you need to change the incoming server from IMAP to POP.

I could not access the Tools menu. I took two screen shots. One is when Thunderbird is activated. The second is showing the Tool menu Tab is not there.

sorry unable to up load images.

I appreciate your help, wilnav
