Hello,

You may want to check the following page:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-restore-my-tabs-last-time

Specifically, you may want to follow the instructions in the section named "Restore the previous session every time you open Firefox". In it, you can select from 3 different options:

  • Show your home page.
  • Show a blank page.
  • Show your windows and tabs from last time.

You may want to select one of the first two options.

Please let us know if that solved your problem. Thanks.

Hi dolin25, in Firefox for Android, the setting can be found at:

menu button > Settings > Advanced > Restore tabs

When you tap on Restore tabs, the second option is "Don't restore after quitting Firefox"

Now... when and how do you "quit" Firefox for Android? Good question. It's possible that if you swipe Firefox off the recent apps screen, that will quit Firefox. If not, you may need to use the menu inside Firefox.

To get Quit at the bottom of the menu, you can set Firefox to clear any category of private data when you quit:

menu button > Settings > Privacy > Clear private data on exit

When you tap Clear private date on exit, a long list appears. You could select "Open tabs" if you want Firefox to forget about those tabs when you use Quit. Or if you want to keep the list available for manual restoration, you could choose a category of temporary data like Cache.

Does that work?
